About the Training
I haven't offered a Reiki training for over three years and am excited to make this available to you! Reiki is an incredibly gentle, beautiful and powerful way to ease into the world of Energy Medicine. My own introduction to Reiki came when I had already been working with energy for about six years and, as I found my relationship with the practice, immediately realized that my work would have been much easier and less taxing had I explored it earlier.
So I've designed this training both for folks who are brand new to energy work and for those who have been in it for awhile, but haven't explored Reiki yet.
Over the course of 12 hours spread over two weekends, we will delve into the history, theory, and practice of Reiki. By the end of our time together, you will:

Over the course of 12 hours spread over two weekends, we will delve into the history, theory, and practice of Reiki. By the end of our time together, you will:
- Learn the history and core principles of Reiki
- Explore basic theories and maps of Energy and how it shapes our physical, mental, emotional, and collective stories
- Learn to access Reiki to conduct self-treatments
- Learn to share Reiki with others both in-person and through remote sessions
- Discuss and explore the ethics of working with Reiki and Energy Medicine in general
- Practice grounding and shielding techniques to help keep your energy field clear with working with others (or just moving through the world)
- Discover five core Reiki symbols for Level 1 and 2 training
- Receive 4 attunements over the course of the training, helping your body and energy system connect with Reiki energy and symbols

The training will be held from 9 AM to 12 PM PST over zoom on two consecutive weekends in April:

In recognition of the times we're in and my own belief that everyone should have access to this type of work, I'm offering this training at tiered pricing. This is an honesty and generosity based system of exchange. You are invited to choose the tier of exchange that best fits your circumstances.
Standard: $525
Supportive: $675 (at this tier, you are helping subsidize the training for others)
If you feel strongly called to join, but do not have the financial capacity at the moment, there are partial scholarships available. Please reach out and we'll work it out.

- All participants commit to attending all sessions live with cameras on;
- All participants commit to a one-hour peer call between sessions.

About the Facilitator

Michael Kass is an international facilitator, consultant, and healer who is passionate about weaving a new story that brings us into greater connection with ourselves, each other, and the wider world.
From witnessing the power of story, deep presence, and even a simple breath to facilitate transformation, he has developed a unique approach that brings together elements from coaching, a decade-plus of breathwork facilitation, storytelling, energy medicine, and earth-based practices to support his clients in stepping into a more aligned, vibrant, and vital future. Michael is a certified Breathwork Facilitator, HeartMath Facilitator, Coach, and a Reiki Master Teacher. He has completed Four Directions Training with Rites of Passage, and has studied with amazing folks including Pi Villarasa (steward of Inner Dance), Bayo Akomalafe, Michael Meade, Deena Metzger, Thomas Hubl and others. He also probably likes brownies more than you do. |

I don't have much experience with 'spiritual stuff.' Can I still participate?
Absolutely! The experience is designed to welcome folks of all levels of experience and backgrounds. We each bring our unique experience and perspective to the space and exploration of Reiki; that's part of what makes it so powerful.
I'm deep in the world of healing, energy, and Spirit -- is this for me?
Yes, this is exactly the situation I was in when I received my Reiki Certification. Reiki is a beautiful complement to other energetic practices.
