New Years can be an exciting and hopeful time, and also an exhausting and intimidating one. Flickers of possibility can get lost in the flurry of resolutions and goals and a laundry list of #bestlife expectations. Our culture demands that we bound into the new year with unfettered enthusiasm, but as individuals, we often feel a deeper need for a little space & stillness post-holidays to settle, to connect, and to feel into what the coming year wants to be.
Join us January 17th through 20th for a weekend in the spacious desert of Joshua Tree as we explore and play our way into alignment with ourselves, others, and our unique calling for the year.
We'll use both ancient and modern practices to open, listen, and create, and we'll take an opportunity to disrupt the noise of our busy city lives with a little bit of time to remember what feels most important and true. We'll breathe together, move together, and connect over shared meals. We'll gather by the fire, and we'll scatter across the land. We'll share visions so that they can be held and supported by others, and we'll make quiet space to honor that which might still be too sacred to share.
The intention is to come together in community to honor the spirit, soul, and vision of each individual, the community, and the Land herself so that we can move into the year with a sense of purpose, connection, and belonging. Also, we will have fun.

About the Facilitators
Julia Albain is an Energy Worker and lover of humans. She is a Reiki Master Practitioner and Teacher in the Tibetan Usui and Karuna lineages. Additionally, she is trained and practices in Integrative Energy Therapy, Shamanic Healing, Mindfulness, and more. Julia serves private clients and students in a variety of capacities with the intention of awakening the natural healing abilities that live in each of us, and supporting the emergence of intuitive guidance as a way of life. Michael Kass is an award-winning storyteller, healer, breathwork facilitator, teacher, and founder of Story & Spirit. He's passionate about helping people and organizations discover and harness the power of their stories to create a more just, equitable, and viable future for all beings.
