Storytelling & Leadership in The Modern World
Leadership is about more than goal setting, developing strategy, and effective project management. At the core of powerful leadership lies the ability to bring people together around a shared vision, to communicate complex concepts and priorities in clear ways, and to connect with diverse stakeholders in sometimes challenging environments.
Everyone from Inc. to Harvard Business Review to Google has published countless articles about how 'storytelling' is a, if not the, essential leadership skill in a world that is increasingly drowning in data. But not much of the research tells us exactly what goes in to finding, crafting, honing, and sharing powerful leadership stories.

About the Class
This six week exploration of the art and science of Leadership Storytelling fills the gap. Through a combination of theory and practice, you will:
Who Is It For?
This workshop is for those looking to refine their professional storytelling skills. It's ideal for executives, entrepreneurs, people in moments of professional transition, and anyone who finds themselves managing groups.
All levels of experience are welcome!
What You Get
The exchange for this class, including all materials and recordings, is $325 until January 3rd, then it goes up to $397. Because this is a pretty compressed timeline for a class like this, I ask that every participant commit to attending at least 5 sessions live. In turn, I commit to bringing my full self to each class with the goal of supporting your exploration and growth as both storytellers and leaders.
- Discover the physiological impact of powerful stories; the neuroscience behind the buzz;
- Explore powerful exercises to help you uncover the stories hidden within seemingly small moments (and reconnect with your core sense of purpose while we're at it);
- Learn about the six different types of story that every leader must tell;
- Examine case studies that illuminate how a well-told story can galvanize a team and build a sense of shared mission;
- Combine human-centered stories with powerful strategy to create impact.
- Receive story coaching on at least two stories developed over the course of our time together.
